 Space is the vast, infinite void beyond Earth's atmosphere, where gravity and cosmic structures form a complex tangle. Here, there are elements and phenomena including stars, planets, galaxies, nebulae and comets. This space has no atmosphere, so there is no air or pressure, and temperatures can be extreme - very cold in empty space and very hot near stars.
