    Masashi Niwano is the Festival Exhibition Director for the Center for Asian American Media's film festival, CAAMFEST. This year's festival is virtual, so anyone from anywhere can attend! I especially encourage Asian American filmmakers from the American south to check it out since CAAM is partnering with other groups to support your endeavors, check out their website for more details. And to all you aspiring filmmakers CAAM offers fellowships! funding! and distribution! So get to work on your films so we can see them next year, hopefully in person!

    Abraham Ferrer is the Archives and Distribution Manager for Visual Communications, a non-profit media arts organization based in downtown Los Angeles. They host the annual Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival. Because of the pandemic, the festival was moved to September this year. Send your entries now!     Kristina Wong is a comedian, writer and performance artist who grew up in San Francisco and is now based in LA. She just completed a month long run at LA's Center Theatre Group with her show, Kristina Wong for Public Office, based on her experience being an elected representative of Koreatown. She also started the Auntie Sewing Squad at the beginning of the pandemic to make masks for health care workers, and now for underserved populations. That experience spawned a documentary in the making and a book deal. If you can, donate or make some masks and spread the protection instead of infection.

    Selena grew up around Orlando, Florida with a Vietnamese mother and white father. She followed in her older sister's footsteps into a career as a professional dancer which included touring with Disney's The Lion King. After her dance career ended, she thought about becoming a director of photography but decided directing was more her lane. She now directs social media branded content and live performances, most recently Coco: Live From The Hollywood Bowl, based on the Disney movie.
