About this listen
Send us a text
This poem is one of my earlier works in 2020. It was the year my mother died and it speaks about the day we went to pick up her ashes at the funeral home.
It was probably one of the hardest days of my life.
I remember it clearly, almost as if it happened just yesterday.
I hope that if you are someone who lost a loved one and you listen to this piece, that you will remember that loved ones are never really lost when they die. They simply live on in everything around and within you.
Thank you to J Ross once again for producing the beautiful music on this piece.
