About this listen

In our very first 3 way conversation on The Inspirer Podcast we take a deep dive into the wonderful organisation Bow Seat

To put it simply Bow Seat is an organisation that holds an annual youth art contest to promote ocean conservation. But in reality Bow Seat is so much more than that!

Reaching almost 30,000 teenagers from around the world, Bow Seat brings youth together to learn, create and connect on the subject of climate change and ocean conservation.

Their “Future Blue Youth Council”, composed of past contestants, supports alumns of the contest in their water conservation projects through their fellowship grant program.

Today they have an impressive archive of powerful art that they showcase through their online gallery and in person shows. This incredible ressource carries the voices of thousands of teenagers who speak out for ocean conservation.

Linda Cabot is the founder of Bow Seat and Eric Carstens is their Programs Manager.

They are inspired and inspiring people who are passionate about the power of education and art for climate change advocacy.
