About this listen
Yo, what's up good people? It's ya boy Brian and I got Kenny back on the cast! It was quite an eventful summer for the NBA right? Trades, signings, just moves in general.
In this episode, we have a pre-season tier list--starting from the bottom.
Bad/rebuilding: teams that either stink because they are young or teams that are bad because they do not have the right personnel. Typically no more than 30-35 wins.
Mid teams: these teams typically start the season with high hopes but are expected by one, or both of us, to not meet those expectations. 40-45 wins.
Good teams: this set refers to the teams that are playoff-bound. Could make it to the second round but would shock most if they made it past the second round (conference semifinals). 48+ wins
Dark horse: teams like this lack the contender quality, be it coaching, personnel, or "bad luck" (injuries, bad FO decisions, etc.). Otherwise would be contenders if not for the list above.
Contenders: teams that stand out as the best. Typically have one or more superstars and/or all-stars or all-star caliber players. Only an injury could set them back. Often has an MVP or MVP-caliber player.
