We took a road trip to Taos to meet our dear friend April at the Crossroads, where we sipped multiple beverages and had ourselves a chat. April's talents are many. To be succinct, she's a certified herbalist, psychedelic integration coach, and lead instructor for the Botanical Mystery School. Our conversation dives into addiction once again, which seems to be a theme that's emerging throughout our interviews. First, we discuss what's considered a relatively benign addiction but an addiction nonetheless—coffee. April shares quite a few helpful tips on how to bring awareness, balance, and ritual when we find ourselves fiending for our next caffeine fix. The next substance we dive into is alcohol. Having quite a few Sag placements, April knew how to party with the best of them, and she found herself continually imbibing copious amounts of alcohol.
