"He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me."
John 6:56-57
- Each sacrament gives a characteristic grace to the one who receives it.
- In Communion, Jesus teaches and strengthens us by nourishing our souls
- Communion allows us to receive the fruits of Jesus' self-sacrifice on the Cross: salvation (Heaven) and sanctification (holiness).
- We are sent (Missa) to put into practice what we have learned and use the graces we have received.
