About this listen

ATT, your catalyst to deeper thinking.

We talk with Kyle Morrison, a PhD student in the realm of Zoology and Meta-analysis. We try to see eye to eye about morality, we try to come at it from the perspective of applied morality, as abstract concepts of morality don't really affect much in how you live your life. For example, what worldview allows us to apply morality more effectively? Kyle suggests that we should simply use science and to disregard the beliefs of our ancestors, as science can evolve and adapt over time, this would give us a "science of morality", were we can deduce what we ought to do from "facts about human well-being". Is this a tenable stance? Or are our ancestors not as stupid as modern man is so quick to believe? And is an abundant life, with all our needs met, to be able to live with ease, a life worth living? Where does meaning come in? And how does this relate to the notion of "Faith"?

ATT is a Christian podcast that contains elements of philosophy, general in depth discussion, and religion, portrayed in a way to hopefully interest the viewer in such things as well as better their lives and those around them, however small it may be.
