About this listen
Today’s episode is different. It’s not an episode, but a personal message I recorded on my phone...
I’m so sad to share that my beautiful mum passed away on 30 November 2025. Although she had been very ill for many years, she was stable, and I truly didn’t expect we would be saying goodbye so suddenly. I flew from Sydney to London and arrived just in time to be with her. We shared some incredibly meaningful moments in those final days, and I was fortunate to be by her side as she took her final breath.
This podcast is created with so much love, passion and energy to make a real difference in people’s lives, especially women and children. But I am so unbelievably heartbroken, that I simply didn’t have the emotional capacity to go into the studio and give you what you deserve. I know you completely understand and would encourage me to rest and be kind to myself. So today is just a short update, since you’ve been on this unexpected journey with me in real time.
I do want to say thank you, for the extraordinary love and compassion you’ve shown. My latest post on Instagram is a tribute to my mum, and it has already reached over 200,000 views, with thousands of love hearts and comments. I’ve read every single one. Your words have brought me so much comfort at a time when my heart has felt so broken.
I’m also incredibly grateful that my mum lived long enough to see her story shared with the world. For years she didn’t feel seen or heard by her doctors, but she was seen and heard by YOU. I shared so many of your messages with her. The abundance of comments about the courage, hope and change she inspired has meant so much to me, my mum, and our extended family. Especially now.
Knowing her story has helped so many become aware of the real dangers of antibiotic overuse, question more deeply, heal more intentionally, and feel empowered to make the best choices for themselves has brought so much meaning to this journey. The timing of it all was surreal, after years of silence, her story suddenly reached millions. Perhaps it was her final act of love, generosity and kindness. That was exactly who she was in life.
You are all amazing. Thank you for supporting me through this.
I’ll be back next week with our regular episode supporting you nutritionally, emotionally and spiritually as we move through the holidays and into a new year.
With love,
Sharon x
