We also discussed character classes, being a Christian coach, Rush Spring watermelons, the first game of the season, spring ball and final words.

I sat down with Jim Rees and John McNeal to discuss what the American Legion is all about, both on a national level and right here in our own backyard. We talk about how the Legion supports veterans and the community, from offering scholarships to organizing service projects. We also talk about how things have changed over the years, and what their hopes are for the future of the American Legion.

I sat down with Elgin Football Offensive Coordinator Adam Castro to discuss the championship game against Tuttle, the challenges of losing and replacing players this year, practice routines, the upcoming schedule, the first game of the season against Lawton Mac, QB1, standout players so far, practice and game planning, O-line techniques, NIL, character classes, and Texas football rules.
