About this listen
This week on the show, Myriah & Jerry chat with Amanda Kitchens, the Co-Founder of Our Village Closet, a non-profit that helps to support foster youth.
About Our Village Closet:
Our Village Closet (OVC) is a dedicated team of advocates, passionately committed to building resiliency in the foster community of Sonoma County by providing relevant supplies and support to youth affected by foster care and their caregivers.
Their goal is to equip foster youth and caregivers with support people and resource connections, essential supplies, and materials that can help fortify a safe, consistent, and nurturing home environment for those impacted by the welfare system.
By doing this, they hope to provide needed, extra layers of support and strengthen connections.
