As the In-Demand Career & Apprenticeship Strategist for Maricopa County, Katelyn expands community awareness of job seeker and employer services through ARIZONA@WORK Maricopa County.In the community, Katelyn serves on the board for Phoenix nonprofit Hope’s Crossing and was appointed to the Community, Mental Health, Wellness & Public Safety Taskforce for the City of Phoenix. She is a seven-year funder of the African-American Women’s Giving & Empowerment Circle (AAWGEC) and Co-founder of the Bet of Yourself Scholarship at Phoenix College.An advocate for a more bikeable and walkable Phoenix, Katelyn joined the Bike To Work Committee for the Urban Phoenix Project. She is a 2020 Flinn Brown Fellow and a former Vice President & Civic Engagement Chair for the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals.Katelyn and her husband own a portfolio of short and long term rental properties and are currently renovating an old motel in historic Globe, Arizona.
