 Der Lindauer Dieter Gebhard war mehrfacher Deutscher Meister im 110 Meter Hürdenlauf und der 4x100 Meter-Staffel. Als Krönung seiner Laufbahn war er sogar Weltmeister als Anschieber im Zweierbob und wurde damals in Lindau triumphal empfangen. Begonnen hat alles beim TSV Lindau.
