Jonathan and I have been social media buddies for a couple years now. Recently he made several leather products for All American Maker, and I had the privilege of producing candles for his grand opening! My wife and I drove down and spent the whole weekend hanging out, recording a podcast, and just being warm bodies in the shop and opening day. It was really cool to be a part of this experience with Jonathan, and I want all of you to meet this incredible entrepreneur that is definitely going places!  

John Schatvet is the owner and maker at Knot Your Average Grain located near Buffalo, NY! John will soon be retiring from the Navy, but has slowly been building up his woodworking and engraving business over the last several years! 

John is the maker of the AAM whiskey glasses, as well as several other new products coming out very soon! 

Last summer I drove out to the West Coast and visited several makers! One of these was Bryant who I met in the upper part of Washington state! While visiting him, I had a chance to see behind the curtain of how they make the different products. We grabbed lunch and had the opportunity to chat about life and owning/operating a business in this day and age. 

Bryant has a wealth of experience and information to share, as well as being super down to earth and willing to talk about pretty much anything! I hope you enjoy the episode and give him a follow! 

Christian has built a following around some of the things he really enjoys. Men's rustic fashion and whiskey. I had the privilege of recording the podcast over the phone in May of 2020, and shorting thereafter, during a work road trip that I took in July of 2020, I got the chance to meet up with Christian in Seattle for an afternoon to meet in person and chat. 

Christian is super down to earth, and has a ton of knowledge about working with brands, and shares tips for influencers that I feel will be invaluable!

I've known Jeremy for over 2 years now. It started when I reached out to him about considering custom candles for his business Jericho Home Georgia! Ever since then we have talked here and there, but early this year I finally got the chance to sit down and have a phone conversation with him! For the last year or more, I have been getting to know Luke and Gillian over Instagram. We exchanged services, (product photography for goods), and I have since purchase several wholesale orders of products from them for All American Maker! 

Recently, as I drove across the country on a 7500 mile road trip, meeting up with Makers and Creators, I visited Luke & Gillian in Salem, Oregon at their business! It was an incredible experience to finally meet them in person, and we had the opportunity to finally record an episode for the podcast!
