Alex Chmiel is an enthusiastic outdoorsman who built his identity around all the physical activities he did, but when a snowboarding knee injury and surgery recovery time slowed his life way down, he asked himself "what if this is the best thing that ever happened to me?" He decided to shift his focus to producing his own festival, The Festival of Yes, which he invited me to DJ and offer a Create Your LIfe Workshop at in August of 2023.
In our conversation we speak on peak experiences, flow states, meditation retreats, pulling gems out of the holes in your life, choosing gratitude vs. choosing suffering, giving to others, having faith, and much more!
