🏃‍♂️ Track & Field State Recap – The Chugiak Mustangs made a major statement, sweeping the D1 Boys and Girls team titles! And made history for the first time since Bartlett Golden Bears in the 1980s, they’ve now captured both the Cross Country Running and Track & Field state championships in the same school year. Legendary stuff from the Mustangs!

Soccer State Review – The Kenai Kardinals girls’ squad defended their title in dominant fashion, going back-to-back in D2. In D1, the West Anchorage Eagles Boys team soared to victory, claiming their first state championship since 1993, dating back to the pre-sanctioned era before ASAA took the reins in 2000. A huge moment for a historic program!

🥎 Softball State Preview – All eyes are on Bettye Davis East in D1. Can anyone match the Thunderbirds’ firepower? And in D2, it’s time to find out — will Southeast continue its reign, or is an upset brewing on the infield?

Baseball State Tournament Preview – The D2 tournament heads to Kenai, where Soldotna looks like the team to beat — but don’t count out Kenai Central or Palmer if their pitching can deliver under pressure.
