 Back in 2022, David Ashley and Rachel Harkin (with sound and visual engineer, Greg Morris), went on a mission around the UK to meet and talk to some of the ILG community steering group. We had some fascinating conversations with PA employers keen to impart their stories and explain why employing PAs has worked for them despite the many challenges faced along the way. Agnes lives in Scotland and has employs PAs to support her son to live independently and is the Scottish representative on the ILG community steering group. Agnes has channelled her experience employing PAs into her career by working as a DP advisor for many years. We travelled north of the border to speak with her about her experiences.
