Having saved a few hundred Imperial citizens, the agents patched themselves up and reported back the Beatrice Hawkstar, who introduced them another member of the family, Usinger. When Morgan relayed the information about Drukhari involvement, Usinger realized that Amberlin was consorting with xenos. They decided they would put Usinger’s forces on the xenos problem, Beatrice’s forces would provide a distraction, and the agents would enter the governor’s mansion with a small team to covertly extract the young governor, Darius. Mogan hoped that the rank spike given to her by Beatrice would let the team enter stealthily.
