Summary
In this episode we dive into the story behind HOFFA (Health Agents for America) and why this year could be one of the most important moments our industry has ever faced.
What started during the early days of the Affordable Care Act became one of the only advocacy groups in Washington focused entirely on insurance agents and brokers, not carriers. Founder Rena Noland launched HOFFA when commissions for agents were threatened and there was no organization willing to fight for agents directly.
