Op 31 augustus is het precies 50 jaar geleden dat Radio Veronica als zeezender ophield te bestaan.
Eén van de makers was Ad Bouman (°1947), die in 1965 als technicus werd aangenomen. Hij presenteerde dan wel niet, hij werd wel wereldberoemd in Nederland en België dankzij zijn eigen top 10.
Ik zocht Ad op in zijn tot studio verbouwde tuinhuis, vol met memorabilia van het zendschip).
