In 1522 kwamen de ‘kwade wijven’ in opstand in Antwerpen. Wie waren ze? Wat dreef hen? Bart De Wever heeft het over godsdiensttwisten, de plek van de vrouw in de samenleving van volksvrouw tot landvoogdes en vooral over sterke vrouwen, tout court, want ook koopvrouw Anna Janssens, de vrouw die het Hessenhuis liet bouwen passeert de revue.
