Millie chats to Alexandra Ampofo, who has been making her mark on the music industry for years.
Working as a junior booker at Metropolis Music, Alex look's after Kojey Radical, Goldlink, Nao, Soulection and many more. At Live Nation, she's an ERG Leader for EMBRACE Nation, which is a network started in an attempt to make sure their workplace is as diverse as possible and everyone is treated fairly.
Alex founded Acoustic Live at 18, which is an award-winning, multi vessel platform that has been dedicated to keeping stripped back music alive, building a community and providing a powerful space that offers artists a chance to flourish.
Lastly, Alex recently co-founded Women Connect, a female focused collective creating safer, all-inclusive spaces, good fortune and equal opportunities for women in the creative industry.
We chat about all this and so much more! It's a brilliant episode and I hope you take as much away from it as I have.
