  • Fenway Punk With Chris Wrenn
    Feb 6 2026

Between the years of 1999-2004 there was no bigger rivalry in sports than that of the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. These two storied baseball teams have always had a bitter rivalry, but it hit new levels during this five year period.

A group of guys from Boston's vibrant punk rock scene decided to take advantage of this by selling shirts and stickers with the slogan "Yankees Suck." It was simple but effective. The shirts took over New England, and the rest of the country. It became a rally cry as the 2004 Red Sox went on to win their first World Series Title in 86 years.

One of those guys, Chris Wrenn, took all the money he made and funneled it right into his record label, Bridge Nine Records. Over the last couple of decades Bridge Nine has released some of the most important records in the hardcore music scene. None of that would've happened without the Yankees Suck shirts.

Chris shares the wild story of how all of this happened in his new book, "Fenway Punk: How A Boston Indie Label Scored Big On Baseball's Biggest Rivalry." The book is out on 2/10/26.

  • Epic Disruptions With Scott D. Anthony
    Jan 30 2026

The word 'disruptor' has a distinct connotation. It tends to be tied to Silicon Valley and the tech world. It's the whole 'move fast and break things' mantra. But, there have been disruptors throughout history. Any time something new comes along and throws the world, and culture, into a frenzy, that's a disruptor. Things like the printing press, iPhone and even things like the disposable diaper are all epic disruptions. Scott D. Anthony recently published his latest book titled, 'Epic Disruptions: 11 Innovations That Shaped Our Modern World.'

  • Don't Be Yourself With Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic
    Jan 16 2026

Authenticity was the word of the year in 2023. Everyone wants to be their authentic, or true, selves. But, does there come a time when that isn't beneficial to you? The workplace is a great example. This week I'm joined by Dr. Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic. He recently published a book called "Don't Be Yourself: Why Authenticity Is Overrated And What To Do Instead." I wasn't sure how I'd feel about this book when I first got it, but Dr. Tomas has a lot of really great insight into the workplace. I hope you enjoy our conversation!

  • Do More In Four with Jared Lindzon
    Dec 12 2025

You may have heard a conversation growing about changing the standard workweek from 5 days down to 4. 32 hours a week instead of 40. In just about every test, or trial, companies have found that a shorter workweek has benefitted them. As did their employees. But the 4 day workweek hasn't quite caught on yet. Maybe that's going to change.

Jared Lindzon teamed up with Joe O'Connor to write a book called "Do More In Four: Why It's Time For A Shorter Workweek." It comes out on January 13th but I wanted to get the conversation started early!
