About this listen
DJ Human pays tribute to the one and only Ace Frehley of KISS and Frehley's Comet fame. Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley is a legendary guitarist and founding member of the rock band Kiss. Known for his "Spaceman" makeup and lightning bolt guitar strap, Frehley played lead guitar and occasionally sang lead vocals for Kiss from 1973–1982. He's also credited with designing the band's iconic logo. In 1978, Frehley released his self-titled solo album, which included the hit cover of "New York Groove". We take a deep dive into his life, his time with KISS and his solo career. Rare cuts, a tribute to his most popular leads and a rare acoustic reunion of KISS. Plus the 'Sativa Avenger' Scotty D. from Reality Check calls in.
