About this listen

Velma is a former Social Worker turned Holistic Health Consultant and Holistic Health Consultant Director at Natures Pure Love and she holds a BSc. in Health and Social Science.  As a consultant, she creates holistic health plans and coaching programmes that support and improve the growth and performance of aspiring individuals, professional leaders and executives.  She spends her life empowering people to manage and improve their health, wealth and well-being.  In addition she is a co-author in the book Letters To My Younger Soul.

In this episode, join the conversation as we discuss how Velma overcame racism from her class teachers, who said she swung in trees and would amount to nothing.  How she turned around her daughter's terminal illness after doctors had said there was nothing more they could do, and how her past forged her path into several community initiatives battling race divides and into a successful health business that holistically treats some of the more challenging health issues we deal with. Also, why her two favourite books are the Holy Bible and Barbara Taylor Bradford novels.
