 Le collectif item est une structure de production de photographie documentaire. Indépendante et surtout solidaire ! Fondé en 2001, ses mots d'ordre sont: produire, diffuser, collaborer et transmettre. Il est aujourd’hui composé de douze photographes : Leonora Baumann, Franck Boutonnet, Romain Etienne, Morgan Fache, Jeanne Frank, Bertrand Gaudillère, Nicolas Leblanc, Cyril Marcilhacy, Hugo Ribes, Kasia Strek, Adrienne Surprenant et Jeremy Suyker ; D'un graphiste/scénographe Yannick Bailly, d’une réalisatrice/monteuse Christina Firmino, d’un anthropologue Philippe Somnolet, d’une chargée de projets, Mika Sato et d’une coordinatrice/administratice Laureen Quincy.
