About this listen

As a general statement, Christian women need the same things that any other woman needs, such as love, support, and access to basic necessities. However, as a believer, there is also the call to prioritize our relationship with God through involvement in a faith community, and spiritual growth through prayer and Bible study. But how often have we found ourselves in a rut simply because life overwhelms us so that we become stuck, find ourselves in a rut, even as we declare to ourselves, "I need to get up and get going!"

This will be more than just a faith conversation; it will be a conversation that centers around faith in action, how that feeds into our everyday life, 24/7. This will be a deep dive into who we are as God's daughters and what it means to us when we declare a woman's place is in the will of God.

  • Episode 1 - “The Stories I Carry” "Juneteenth, I Hardly Knew You!"
    Jun 19 2025
A podcast where life meets story and story meets soul! I believe in the power of stories and storytelling. Each week I share a personal narrative, some poignant, some funny, some a blend of and fiction, a mix of fiction, faith and figments of my imagination. Born and raised in Texas, Juneteenth was an annual celebration but what I didn't know then was the back story, the history, my ancestry and culture. Just a black girl growing up in the Jim Crow South; Juneteenth I hardly knew you.
