A Storied Table

  • Summary

  • Life is a lot, and (God love ‘em) kids add an extra level of crazy. You never stop, and every ding from your phone tends to induce some level of anxiety, whether it’s another negative notification from the news, or a text from the groomer that you forgot to pick up the dog… again.

Goodness gracious! It's like you're juggling more than actually living, and you’re left wondering where the heck all your joy went.

As much as you want to some days, you know you can’t throw in the towel.

Come sit, take a break, and hang out. Let’s get you in a better headspace and re-light that fire in your soul.

Let’s have some fun and help you find the joy in everyday life again.

Welcome to a storied table. I’m so glad you’re here.

  • ADHD | Still Wired Differently
    May 8 2025

Text me! Tell me something good!

I was diagnosed with ADHD as a young teenager, but somewhere along the way—especially after some frustrating (and frankly, infuriating) college experiences—I quietly walked away from the label and everything that came with it. I talk about how ADHD showed up in my life back then, why I started to question the diagnosis altogether, and how a recent podcast series called Climbing the Walls reconnected the dots for me in ways I didn’t expect.

This episode is a detour from our originally planned stories from Italy—but when something hits home like this, I have to share it in the moment. If you’ve ever wondered if your “weird brain” might actually be telling you something important, this one’s for you.

Take a listen and don't forget to use the link above to shoot me a text and let me know what you think. Looking forward to it!

  • Intention | A Weekend Away
    Mar 6 2025

Text me! Tell me something good!

Ever feel like life has you and your spouse running on autopilot—barely syncing up beyond the "have-to-know" daily details?

I get it. A few years ago, a random podcast episode turned into one of the best decisions of our marriage: an intentional weekend away to reconnect, dream again, and actually plan for the life we wanted.

    John Maxwell said it best:
"When you live each day with intentionality, there’s almost no limit to what you can do. You can transform yourself, your family, your community, and your nation. When enough people do that, they can change the world.”

That first weekend changed everything for us. And now, six years later, we’re packing our bags once again—bringing all those questions, conversations, and dreams along for the ride. We’re heading somewhere special, and we can’t wait to see what unfolds.

Want to hear how a simple weekend away could transform your marriage too? Go listen now! And find the PDF I reference below👇

  • Friends | The Gift of the Call Out
    Feb 20 2025

Text me! Tell me something good!

Have you ever had a friend point out something about you that you totally hadn’t noticed before?

Was it a shock? Or—let’s be real—did you actually know but just chose to ignore it?

Friends play a lot of roles in our lives, but the best ones? They’re the ones you can trust with the call out. The kind that’s honest, maybe a little uncomfortable, but always wrapped in love.

This idea never really crossed my mind—until recently. And once I started thinking about it, I couldn’t unthink it. You’ll see what I mean.

Oh, and don’t forget—you can text me now! Tell me what you think about all this, or just send something good my way. Because who doesn’t need more of that?
