About this listen
Mark Twain (born Samuel Langhorne Clemens, 1835–1910) grew up along the Mississippi River in the small town of Hannibal, Missouri. His childhood surrounded by riverboats, storytelling, and the colorful characters of a frontier town would later inspire his most famous works, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.
He showed us that humor is more than entertainment—it’s a powerful tool for truth and transformation, capable of opening minds, dissolving prejudice, and inspiring change.
