About this listen
Will God still use me if I am anxious? Isn't anxiety a sin? How can God choose someone who can't even trust Him not to fear?!
"Do not be afraid" is mentioned in the Bible 365 times - that's one time for every day of the year! Yet somehow, fear shows up in our lives anyway. Being afraid or anxious doesn't disqualify us from being used by God. Though fear may try to stop us, God has given us the "power, love, and sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7) to overcome it, and to fulfill the purpose on our lives. But how do we know this to be true?
The Bible lists many examples of people who overcame their anxieties to do God's will - David, Elijah, and yes, even Jesus, struggled with this same obstacle. Nevertheless, they fulfilled all that was their calling, and more. Today, we will take a look at how these great men pushed beyond their fears and offer you 3 practical applications to help you do the same. Let's dig in. _____________________________________________________
