 どうしたら可愛いワンちゃんやネコちゃんと出来るだけ長く一緒にいられるのか・・・そんな問いに答えてくれるのが今週のゲスト、日本大学 生物資源科学部 獣医学科 教授で、日本大学動物病院長の枝村一弥先生。主な研究分野は獣医外科、運動器疾患、再生医療（iPS細胞）。全国で10人ほどしかいないという小動物外科専門医の資格を日本人として2人目に取得。2013年と15年には学部内の動物病院で東武動物公園飼育の希少種ホワイトタイガーの子の膝手術を手がけ、一般メディアでも話題となった枝村先生。実はiPS細胞などを使った再生医療が動物の治療に応用されるのも時間の問題なのだとか！
