Exode 28:36 dit: “Tu feras une lame d’or pur, et tu y graveras, comme on grave un cachet: Sainteté à l’Éternel”. Cette plaque était fixée avec une corde bleue pour qu’elle ne tombe pas du turban.
Que nous montre Dieu avec ce turban du Souverain Sacrificateur? Le turban et son ornement implique que Jésus Christ a pris tous nos péchés par le baptême qu’Il a reçu de Jean Baptiste et a ainsi purifié tous nos péchés.
