Hvorfor vasket Jesus Peters føtter dagen før påskehøytiden? Mens han vasket føttene, sa Jesus: «Du forstår ikke nå, men du vil vite etter dette.» Simon Peter var den beste av Jesu disipler. Han trodde at Jesus var Guds sønn, og han vitnet om at Jesus var Kristus. Og da Jesus vasket føttene hans, var det helt sikkert en grunn til å gjøre det.
