أول كل شئ، رومية 8 : 1 يخبرنا، "فَالآنَ إِذاً لَيْسَ عَلَى الَّذِينَ فِي الْمَسِيحِ يَسُوعَ أَيَّةُ دَيْنُونَةٍ بَعْدُ." أولئك الساكنين في يسوع المسيحِ بالإيمان ببر الله بالتأكيد لَيْسَ عِنْدَهُم خطيئةُ. مثل هذا الإيمانِ مستند على معموديةِ يسوع ودمه الذي قَدْ أكمل كل متطلبات بر الناموس. الإيمان في بر اللهِ هو المحور الرئيسي للإيمان كى نُولد مرة ثانية قديسين. فيما عدا ذلك كيف يُمكنُ لمجرد هالكين أنْ يُصبحوا بدون خطية؟ وحتى الآن بإيمانهم الثّابتِ في بر اللهِ خلال يسوع المسيحِ، فإن خطاياهم كلها قد اختفت. هذا لأن يسوع قد أخذُ على جسده كل خطايا العالمِ خلال معموديته، لأجلِ أولئك الذينِ يؤمنون ببر الله.
