لقد عَرِفنا الله بالفعل حتى قبل أن نولد في هذه الأرض. و عرف أننا سنولد خطاة و أنقذنا جميعاً نحن المؤمنين من خلال معموديته، التي أزالت كل خطايا العالم. فخلص كل المؤمنين و جعلهم شعبه. كل هذا كان نتيجة لنعمة الله. كما هو مكتوب في المزامير 8 : 4، "فَمَنْ هُوَ ٱلْإِنْسَانُ حَتَّى تَذْكُرَهُ؟ وَٱبْنُ آدَمَ حَتَّى تَفْتَقِدَهُ؟ ؟" المخلصون الذين أنقذوا من كل الخطايا هم الذين ينالون محبته الخاصة. فهم أولاده.
