Siamo nati su questa terra, ma prima ancora Dio ci conosceva. Sapeva che saremmo nati peccatori e ha salvato tutti noi credenti attraverso il Suo battesimo, che ha rimosso tutti i peccati del mondo. Ha salvato tutti i credenti e li ha resi tutti Suo popolo.
Tutto questo è il risultato della grazia di Dio. Come dice Salmo 8,4: «Che cosa è l’uomo, perché te ne ricordi». Coloro che sono salvati da tutti i peccati sono i destinatari del Suo amore speciale. Sono i Suoi figli.
