About this listen

Whodunnit? Who gave this movie a mediocre score? Was it Jordan? She’s known to be a lover of mystery novels and could she not bear to see her beloved tarnished on the big screen? Or was it Emily? Bored by the thought of puzzling out a riddle and craving a different kind of storytelling? The answer, much like the book’s ending, may surprise you.

Episode Drink: Death From Above

1 oz Lemon Hart 151 rum

¾ oz Scarlet Ibis rum

¾ oz Cruzan Black Strap rum

1 tsp Lustau East India Solera Sherry

1 tsp cane sugar syrup

1 dash angostura bitters

2 dashes orange bitters

Stir all ingredients over ice, strain into a double rocks glass over 1 large ice cube. Garnish with a lemon and orange twist.

Recipe From: From Death & Co. Book

Our Drinking Game for this Story

Take a drink every time:

Poirot repeats Casetti’s story

Every time Poirot asks a lady what color her robe is

Whenever Poirot references the handkerchief

Every time Poirot offers someone a cigarette

Down your drink when you make a guess and then find out you’re wrong.

Then down your drink again when technically your guess was correct.
