This is the cycling news from Hungary from the Mátra Biker Sport Club nonprofit sports organisation on 26th August 2025.
Preparations are underway for the 6th edition of the Tour de Mátra Gran Fondo and Sports Festival for 2026. The event welcomes cyclists from more than ten countries, with three distances available. Choose between the 16 km mini fondo, the 83 km medio fondo or the 150 km gran fondo challenge or one of the complex courses. Registration is open for all participants without UCI license. The first 3 youth categories can still enter free of charge, supporting the development of the young generation. Traditionally, the finish line is at Hungary’s highest point.
