Cuando conocemos a Dios, que es el «Verbo», confiamos en Él y le seguimos, podemos darnos cuenta de quién es Dios realmente y creer en Él sin vacilar. La Biblia dice: «Este era en el principio con Dios». Este pasaje nos dice que Dios Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo estaban juntos en el principio. También está escrito: «Todas las cosas por él fueron hechas, y sin él nada de lo que ha sido hecho, fue hecho». El pronombre «Él» aquí se refiere a Jesucristo, que vino a este mundo como Dios mismo, que es el Verbo. Que el mundo fue hecho por Él significa que todas las cosas fueron hechas por Jesucristo.
