About this listen
Our 20s our filled with BIG questions. "Should I take this job?" "Is he my future husband?" "Should I move to this new city?" "Will this person be a good roommate?" There's a lot that we want God to speak into.
Today, we're talking about the difficult side of asking God questions: waiting on His timing for answers. I want to share on this topic because this is something that no body talked to me about in my 20s. I made choices in my 20s that wounded my discernment and my relationship with God in a lot of ways. I want to help you avoid those things.
So, I'm spilling the tea. We are getting into it. Using "Is this guy my husband?" as the examples for today, I want to share where we can get into trouble when we are asking God to speak into our lives. And, spoiler alert, the issue isn't that we're asking. (That's the good part!)
And, we do, this episode goes into God's Word and is full of Biblical encouragement, because Scripture has something beautiful to say to us!
If you want to grow in trusting God, hearing the Holy Spirit, and for your faith to be built up in your daily prayer life (instead of feeling anxious) this episode is for you. Let's tune out the world, and tune into the Holy Spirit.
