Today's guest is Katie Blackburn, PT, DPT, MSHQS

Katie Blackburn, PT, DPT, MSHQS, is a board-certified neurological clinical specialist. She practiced as a full time physical therapist for 9 years at UAB’s Spain Rehabilitation Center with a focus on patients post spinal cord injury and stroke. She helped develop UAB’s Neurologic PT Residency program and also serves as a PT Residency/Fellowship Onsite Reviewer. In 2023, she earned her Masters of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety degree. She has recently transitioned from clinical care to the Rehabilitation Services Quality Manager at Spain Rehabilitation Center. Katie is passionate about highlighting how therapists are valuable assets within the world of quality professionals.
