 Culture keeps telling us love is just a feeling. Floating. Romantic. Sentimental. But God doesn’t love like that. When the Bible talks about God’s love, it’s covenant. It’s promise. It’s action. It’s stability. Romans 5:8 says, ‘But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.’ That’s not simply a mood or sentiment. That’s God keeping an ancient promise He made long before we ever thought of Him. This week, we look to the God who makes the promise, keeps the promise, and becomes the stability we stand on.
