50 | Year Mark Celebration + Personal Update

  • Summary

  • One year ago, I setoff on a crazy adventure.

I started a podcast, and recorded myself talking into a weird bulging mic for ~30 minutes every single week. 😵

Over the course of 365 days, I covered topics I'd been waiting to share with a broader audience for years.

From strategic planning to content batching to marketing and PR differences… You know, the simple things in a communication girl's life. 💁‍♀️

I am amazed by what we accomplished in 50 weeks (yes, I took 2 weeks off in the year), but I'm also ready for how we can improve.

Although, our most streamed episode received over 150 listens in the first day, and 8 lovely guests brought overwhelming awareness to the podcast, there's still a lot we can do, and we're excited to get started. 💪

However, as the podcast grows and priorities shift, the same goes for life…

With this major accomplishment, we've decided to take six weeks off from podcasting, email newsletters and social media posts to celebrate summer. 🥳

While we know that consistency is key to success, so is resting and resetting.

We'll be doing that amid chasing kiddos across open fields and attempting to catch them in lukewarm swimming pools. What will you be doing this summer? 😜

Lookout for Season 2 of the Marketing Your Purpose podcast this fall when we're back with fresh marketing tips, and incredible guests.

Thank you for being such a BIG support to us over this last year!
