خیمۂ اِجتماع بذاتِ خود ۴۸ تختو ں کے ساتھ تعمیر کِیا گیا تھا؛ بیس بیس تختے شمالی اور جنوبی سمتوں کے لئے، چھ تختے مغربی سمت کے لئے، اور دو تختے عقبی دوکونوں کے لئے تھے۔ ہر تختے کی لمبائی ۵.۴ میٹر(۱۵فٹ) اورچوڑائی تقریباً۵.۶۷سینٹی میٹر(۲.۲فٹ) تھی۔ ہر تختے کو سیدھا کھڑا کرنے کے لئے، دو چاندی کے خانے اور دو چولیں تھیں جو ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ درست طریقےسے جڑے ہو ئے تھے۔ یہ ہمیں ایک بار پھر دکھاتا ہے کہ خُدا کی نجات صرف اُس کے فضل سےمسیح پر ایمان رکھنےکی بدولت ملتی ہے۔
