About this listen
Hi Performers! Today's vocal warm up (starting at 3mins.) will help you start to coordinate your muscles so that you can more easily develop your mix between your chest and your head voice, and build your belt technique as well!
It's about 5 1/2 minutes long from about 3:00mins-8:30mins. :)
If you feel like your voice isn't producing the mix or belt you really want, you're comparing your voice to singers on Tiktok and Youtube or Broadway cast recordings, and you just don't feel confident in your ability to sing musical theatre songs, these vocal warm ups will help you get started on your journey of feeling confident in your mix & belt technique - which is essential for being a musical theatre performer! Listen in and sing along!
Warm ups: Focus on resonance, chord closure, and mix-belt - Hum-ah - Gee-gee-gee on a 5th - Ha on an octave - Mmm-I Know x4 through mix and into chest voice
