About this listen
Hey friends! In this New Year's episode, I'm giving you two things: the quick-hit ChatGPT framework I use to set goals in under 5 minutes (it's v different, but I honestly love it), AND the one resolution that actually changed my life 2 years ago.
In this episode, I cover:
- The 5-step ChatGPT goal framework (with the exact prompts)
- Why setting goals can sometimes compound shame
- The story of an Airbnb lie that changed my approach to goal setting
- How to use AI without outsourcing your sovereignty
Welcome to 2026. Fire horse energy. No apologies.
SHOW NOTES:
Step 1: Get clear on WHAT you want
Step 2: Go deeper into WHY
- Feed ChatGPT your current whys
- "Given these whys, what are other whys that would fuel me? Profile me and understand my come-from—what would really drive me this year?"
- Include both global why (impact on others) AND selfish why (what YOU get)
Step 3: Define WHO you need to become
- "Who would I have to become for taking these steps to be effortless—ingrained in who I am?"
- Identity shift: "I'm an athlete" vs. "I'm trying to work out"
Step 4: Identify the WORLDVIEW shift
- "What would my worldview have to be to effortlessly assume that identity? What do I need to believe about [topic] so deeply that taking action feels safe?"
Step 5: Create a RANDOM DAY (between 10-20) micro-commitment plan
- Why 17? Long enough to build habit, weird enough to enforce accountability
- "Give me micro-learning commitments that affirm my identity and get me into action"
- Build confidence → competence → confidence loop
BONUS Step 6: Root in abundance, not lack
- "Remind me that where I am now is perfect. Remind me of my worth and lovability so I can take action from a regulated, empowered place—not from shame."
TRUTH-TELLING PROMPTS:
- "Here are ways I know I lie: [list]. Why do I lie? What's the story underneath? The worldview? The fear?"
- "Help me find experiments to be 5% more truthful in my daily life"
- "What would telling the truth look like in this situation: [describe]?"
- "What are different games or activities I could try on to start implementing this with more ease?"
