Cuando leemos la Palabra de Dios, específicamente el Libro de Génesis, hay muchos pasajes que son difíciles de entender. El pasaje que hemos leído juntos hoy es uno de esos pasajes difíciles. Como podemos ver aquí, Abraham, el padre de la fe, se refirió a su mujer como su hermana. Allá donde iba llamaba a su mujer hermana y hacía que Sara le llamase hermano mayor. Como Abraham se refirió a su mujer como su hermana, hizo que muchos reyes intentasen tomarla como esposa y por eso sufrieron muchos roblemas o calamidades. Sin embargo, aunque mintió por miedo, Abraham fue bendecido por Dios abundantemente. La razón por la que pasó esto, hablando en términos humanos, es muy difícil de entender.
