A Competência 10 da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC) determina que o aluno deve ser capaz de atuar na construção de uma sociedade justa e solidária, num trabalho de responsabilidade e cidadania. A partir disso, o Conexão vai jogar luz ao papel das escolas em cumprir essa lacuna social e repercutir a Câmara Juvenil, iniciativa do município do Rio de Janeiro com jovens estudantes que poderão aprender noções sobre o sistema político e legislativo brasileiro, exercendo um papel cidadão.
