About this listen
It's New Year's Eve, and a fresh coat of snow covers the beer soaked streets of Milwaukee. Only Mike, Michelle, and Connor can help you ring in the new year right with the works of poet and novelist, Rudyard Kipling. The poems to be slammed are:
- "Prelude"
- "The Way Through the Woods"
- "Untimely"
New Year's Eve traditions and resolutions are discussed, as well as The Jungle Book and "Big Yellow Taxi" by Counting Crows
In lieu of a Poetry Corner, the Poetry Pals read the very appropriate poem "New Year's Resolutions" by Rudyard Kipling.
