La sezione IIA colpita dallo schianto dell’Aermacchi 326 è decimata. Dei 16 ragazzi che la compongono si salvano solo quattro studenti e la docente di tedesco. Per loro, e per gran parte dei feriti delle altre classi che riportano ustioni e fratture, inizia un lungo periodo di ricoveri, operazioni, cure e riabilitazioni. In questo episodio di “Cherosene. Storia di un aereo contro una scuola” raccontiamo il ritorno tra i banchi, che sorprendentemente avviene per tutti in breve tempo, così come il recupero fisico. Di contro, le conseguenze psicologiche di quanto vissuto restano a lungo e in particolare per i quattro della IIA scampati al destino toccato ai loro compagni.
